the "real" pig.

A pig which was born with just its two front legs has become an unlikely celebrity in Henan Province, China.

The 10-month-old animal, known by villagers as Zhu Jianqiang, which means Strong-Willed Pig, was born with only two front legs, which it now uses to walk on.

He recalls: ‘My wife asked me to dump it but I refused as it’s a life. I thought I should give it a chance and unexpectedly it survived healthily.’

Several days after Zhu’s birth Wang decided to train the two-legged female piglet to walk by lifting it up by its tail. ‘I trained her a while each day. After 30 days she could agilely walk upside down.’

‘She proved to us that no matter what form life is it should continue to live on,’ he said. ‘I won’t sell her no matter how much the offer is.’

-i am really really surprised. funny but fact.  i want to see her live.

bellatrix (black) lestrange

“Bella” was the oldest daughter of Druella Rosier and Cygnus Black of the “Noble and Most Ancient House of Black.” Her sisters are Narcissa (Black) Malfoy and Andromeda (Black) Tonks. A particularly enthusiastic member of Voldemort’s inner circle of Death Eaters, Bella relishes causing pain, especially when her victims are powerless; her specialty is the Unforgivable Cruciatus Curse.

She is also capable of tremendous loyalty. During Voldemort’s first reign of terror, Bella and Lucius Malfoy were so high in Voldemort’s trust that they were each entrusted with one of his Horcruxes. Bella was given the Hufflepuff cup which she secured in the Lestrange family vault deep in Gringotts.

Having successfully avoided capture and imprisonment in the immediate aftermath of Voldemort's fall, she (together with three other Death Eaters) attempted to find and restore Voldemort, torturing Frank and Alice Longbottom into madness for information. For this she was given a life sentence in Azkaban prison (GF27, GF33), where she was held until her escape more than 14 years later. After her escape, Bella took part in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, where she managed to defeat her cousin Sirius, sending him falling through the ancient veiled archway in the Death Chamber (OP35).

Bellatrix's snarling conversations with fellow Death Eater Severus Snape in the beginning of Book 6 (HBP2) set up the story's central question: Whose man is Snape? In the end, she goaded him into taking an Unbreakable Vow with Narcissa to protect Draco and kill Albus Dumbledore if Draco failed.

After Dumbledore’s death, Snape was ascendant in Voldemort’s trust, and the Malfoys and Bella were singled out for humiliation; Bella was taunted and told to “prune” the Muggle-born and half-blood members of her family tree. So when Greyback and the snatchers captured Harry, Ron and Hermione with the Sword of Gryffindor, she panicked. The sword should have been in her vault at Gringotts, so she assumed it had been breached and delayed telling Voldemort that Harry had been captured. She couldn’t bear falling further from favor because the cup might have been stolen from its hiding place along with the sword. Unfortunately for Bella, she dithered too long. Dobby appeared and helped Harry, Ron and Hermione (and others) escape the mansion, knowing exactly where to find one of the last Horcruxes. To Harry’s deep sorrow, Bella killed Dobby with an accurately-thrown knife. Bella survived Voldemort’s fury and later fought in the Battle of Hogwarts where she was killed by Molly Weasley.

Bella had the aristocratic Black good looks: tall with black hair and (in her case) heavily-lidded eyes and air of arrogance; although as with Sirius, Azkaban left its mark (GF30, OP25).

"Bellatrix" L. ‘female warrior;’ also the name of a brilliant star in the constellation Orion that is sometimes called "the Amazon star."

-she is the reason why my child will called "bellatrix" future. yea. i am slytherin and i am bellatrix lestrange. CRUCIO!

five reasons to visit lombok, indonesia

The Indonesian island of Lombok does not receive as much fanfare as its hugely popular neighbor Bali. Nevertheless, many Indonesians prefer vacationing in Lombok over Bali for many reasons: prices for hotel rooms, food and attractions are often a good deal cheaper, and the island's scenic spots are still unmolested by the gated villa developments, cheap cocktail bars and tawdry souvenir shops that have spread across so much of Bali. At least for now. A large international airport will be completed next year and Indonesian tourism officials will likely be marketing Lombok as Bali version 2. So don't put off your trip — or miss any of these five Lombok essentials.
1. A Homestay
If you're going to Lombok to avoid Balinese-style tourism, then why not pass up on the hotels, spas and plunge pools altogether and opt for a homestay? There are numerous options around the island, including farmhouses and homes in beachside and mountainside villages. Some are quite elaborate affairs, with self-contained accommodation and differing from standard travelers' lodges only by the presence of convivial hosts. Many offer an introduction to fishing, farming or even hunting as practiced by the local Sasak people, plus a firsthand look at the preparation of local foods and maybe a chance to sit in on some craftwork or the celebration of a festival. Your hosts will also be able to show you points of interest not found in the travel guides.
If you can't pass up on your little luxuries, Yuli's Homestay, yulishomestay.com, in south Lombok is really more of a small resort (it has three comfortable bungalows and a swimming pool), but with a personal touch and lots of local insights supplied by a host couple from New Zealand and Indonesia. H. Radiah Homestay, tel: (62-370) 22298, in Lendang Nangka is a more rustic experience, offering a location smack in the middle of a Sasak village and a great base for hiking.
2. The Lombok Chili Pepper
Since the word lombok means chili in Bahasa Indonesia, you'd expect the locals to know a thing or two about spicy food. The green and red Lombok chilies are often made into sambal — a fiery condiment — with locally grown naga jolokia peppers, garlic and shrimp paste. Sample it as an accompaniment to local dishes like ayam taliwang (grilled wild chicken) and sayur nangka (jackfruit curry).
3. Hit the Beach
Lombok's beaches are second to none and a blessed relief after Bali's busy strips. Head for the island's southwest to really escape the crowds. Surfers love the big waves at Bangko-Bangko (also known as Desert Point); if its long-walled and hollow left-hand breaks sound too taxing, then try the tiny island of Gili Nanggu, 15 minutes by boat from the town of Tawun. There, the Gili Nanggu Cottages and Bungalows resort, gilinanggu.com, offers a chance to laze on a pristine private beach that encircles the island, or to go snorkeling in the beautiful reefs.
4. Two Wheels Good
Public transport on Lombok is unreliable. Many visitors opt to hire a car and driver, which can be obtained at very reasonable rates, but if you're feeling adventurous try renting a motorcycle — available from shops all over the island. At just over 80 km at its widest point, Lombok is easily traversable and its roads are in great condition for Indonesia — the beneficiaries of recent infrastructural investment. The excellent 21-km coastal stretch from Senggigi to Pemenang winds past beautiful inlets and beaches and is an easy, exhilarating ride. Other, smaller roads meander through rugged highlands, passing secluded waterfalls and verdant rice paddies.
5. Hot, Roasted Worms
Lombok's people are an eclectic mix of religious and ethnic groups, with the majority being the indigenous Sasak Muslims. There is also a sizable Hindu Balinese population, and significant numbers of Chinese and Sasak Buddhists. All of this means a lively festival calendar. The largest and most colorful festival is the Bau Nyale or Sea Worm Festival. Every February at Kuta beach (that's Kuta beach, south Lombok, not to be confused with its famous Bali namesake), the Sasak people commemorate a mythical princess who drowned herself in these waters rather than enter a politically vexatious marriage. The festival is timed with the spawning of marine worms, which are eagerly caught and eaten — often after being wrapped in banana leaf and roasted — and the celebrations last for four days.

-the large international airport is located near kuta-lombok beach in the center lombok. it will be the biggest airport in southeast asia. i am proud. lol.
1. homestay? get free from my friends. lol.
2. there are many places for spicy food. ayam taliwang (hot spicy chicken roasted) -recomended, beberok (eggplant -fried, roasted), plecing kangkung (waterspinach -spicy), etc. taste it !
3. beach: kuta (different w/ kuta-bali), gili trawangan, gili air, gili meno, senggigi, etc. waterfall: tanjung an. mountain: rinjani. pearl store: sekarbela.
swimming, surfing, diving, snorckling, canoe boat, watching, hiking, shopping, whatever you can do!
4. something like a "gig", there is called "cidomo". you can look arround the city by this stuff.
5. always happen on february. its called "Bau NYALE".
well, come and visit lombok-indonesia. Ende' De ya' nyesel mun de jok Lombok. Ne Rajane Indonesia. (yy)

hate is easy, love takes courage

This sign is one of the most pivotal sign of our history… We currently often see in LGBT Campaign, however this sign actually originated from protesters in World War II. The media have recently been commenting on the possibility of a World War III, with North Korean shelling of a South Korean island two weeks ago. It temporarily moved the South to crisis status and left U.S. officials scrambling to find a peaceful resolution to the decades-long conflict between the two countries.
Once again students who are against war are ready to protest and advocate for peace. Although I feel that this is a great cause, I feel that is often quite difficult since each country has a desire to show that they superior military wise. I also believe that each country is very egotistic of its own culture. However, I do not believe that violence solves everything.
I certainly think that Hate create war… Whereas Love creates unity. However people are moreso concern about their own well being. That they forget about the other people around them who are also equally important.
I certainly imagine a world where we all work together as a whole in comparison as individual societies. A place with no poverty and misery. The society encourages tolerance of all religions and sexual preferances. A place where there is no war amoung each other area. Although it sounds quite unachieveable utopia…I feel that if all the countries on earth, set asides their differences, and come together in love. We could make this happen…

-you know, war is something that should be avoided. you both are part of korea. you should not be war between brothers. not be completed if no one wants to budge. come on, this war makes people miserable.
yes we can.
